How Tenovate cream Works?
Tenovate skin cream acts via Clobetasol Propionate, a strong synthetic corticosteroid that attaches to glucocorticoid receptors in skin cells, triggering anti-inflammatory molecular signals inhibiting major inflammatory mediators such as protostaglands, leukotrienes and cytokines that irritate skin and cause allergy. The drug inhibits hyperresponsive production of the immune system in the affected skin, relieves inflammation, swelling, redness, and itching, normalizes hyperactivity in inflammatory skin disorders such as psoriasis and eczematous outbreaks, and constricts distended blood vessels to treat severe skin diseases, which makes it more effective in the treatment of resistance to the milder topical corticosteroids.
How to use Tenovate ointment
Use Tenovate ointment as directed and usually on the affected areas only. Wash hands, wipe the affected part with mild soap and water, dry hands completely, and rid the area with a thin coat of coating which should be rubbed in after application. Do not touch eyes, mouth, mucous membranes, broken or infected skin unless instructed to do so by your physician. Avoid bandaging or snug clothing unless advised to do so by your doctor since it leads to more absorption and side effects. Wash hands after application (except in the treatment of hands). The stage of treatment does not exceed 2-4 weeks to avoid the negative outcome such as thinning of the skin.
